Lazy days of summer?

It's almost time to start another great school year. I'm looking forward to sharing some great books with my students through our new book clubs and adding some more technology opportunities into my classroom. No lazy days of summer for me.  I've been busy gearing up for another great year.  See you soon!

What a great way to wrap out a fun and challenging school year.  We are starting to get Smarter Balanced reports back and many of our students have shown growth over the year.  Please have a great, restful summer.  Remember to read, read, and read some more.  Every chance you get, write something - a letter, a postcard, a journal, a story.  Good luck 8th graders next year.  See all of you next year!

Welcome Back!

Wow!  What a great start to the 2015-2016 school year.  I would definitely call our first week in English a success.  Just a reminder to parents that we now have Facebook pages for all three middle school classes so if you want to become a member of this private page, please let the office know.
